“The Noble Nest” is one of the places in
St. Petersburg where you can find preserved the
traditions of Russian aristocracy and restored the
atmosphere of splendor, romantics and refined taste. The
“Noble Nest” is located close to the Mariinski theatre,
in the former Garden Pavilion of the Yusupov palace, in
prince apartments of the most influential and the
richest family in the tsarist Russia. The mansion was
built in 1751 by the architect Wallen de la Motte, the
author of many St. Petersburg buildings, including the
New Hermitage. Years later the major part of mansion’s
décor was lost. It was only in 1994 that the pavilion
was thoroughly restored and its splendor came back to
him, as it was at the time when the princes Yusupovs
received their guests there. In the new birth of the
pavilion the Ost-West Associations collaborated with the
administration of the Yusupov palace. The restoration
took two years of assiduous work of a team of high class
architects and restorers. The original sight was given
back to the exterior while the interior was
reconstructed as a modern restaurant of a world class.

The interior space of the Noble Nest is divided into two
dining halls: the red one and the blue one. They are
decorated as XIX century noble salons and each of them
can hold 25 people. The halls are located on two sides
of the stairs leading to the second floor with a musical drawing room.

Classical music, refined furniture, crystal chandeliers,
portraits of Russian emperors and princes Yusupovs,
table layout and an exhibition of highest quality wines
complete the aristocratic ambiance of the restaurant.

“The Noble Nest” offers a menu made up of traditional Russian dishes, chef-d’oeuvres of
the French cuisine as well as of dishes cooked using the recipes from the Yusupov family cookery book.
The wine list of the
restaurant includes noble wines from France, Spain,
Italy, Argentina, and Chili. Here you will find a wide
choice of elite cognacs, champagnes – of everything
worth real connoisseurs
